Every good photographer has heard the coment You must have a nice camera over and over again.
Which may be true, in most cases… However I can tell you first hand that it isn’t the camera that makes the stunning photograph.
It’s a combination of the experience behind the camera, the desire to learn new things, and the eye for detail which makes most of the difference in a photo.
After that the best photographers must research into what camera, lens, flash(es), etc will give us the results we desire. The latest, most expensive camera might not work for our style, or the conditions we shoot in.
In my case I’ve chosen to use Sigma Digital cameras, due to the unique look I achieve through the Foveon sensor.
Sigma cameras can be purchased in Canada through Bill, at Contact Photo Arts, in Grand Forks, British Columbia.
Although Sigma cameras compliment my style please don’t think that you’ll achieve the same results, without my experience behind the camera.
