Isn’t It Cute

Filed under: Photography Related — Administrator @ 11:07 pm

I just had to get this little 1950′s Braun camera when I saw it at VV for $15.00

Everything seems to work on it, however from the looks of the roll of film inside there’s a good chance it hasn’t been used in decades. So it’s a little tight at the moment.

Spring Snowshoeing

Filed under: Photography Related — Administrator @ 11:21 pm

I went spring snowshoeing with my best friend Darwin today, here’s a pic of him.

We came across these bear tracks while up there.

They weren’t exactly small prints.

Yes, it’s as steep as it looks in those shadows.

Moving Soon

Filed under: Photography Related — Administrator @ 12:19 am

I just thought that I’d let everyone know that I’ll be moving soon. Yes I’m staying in Kelowna, and my email address is staying the same. However my phone number will be changing. I haven’t been notified of my new number yet, however I will post it as soon as I have it.

Due to my move I’ve had to drop my in-house studio for a while.  Although I can still offer product shots, and a mobile service.

Thank You Sigma, for High ISO performance

Filed under: Photography Related — Administrator @ 12:17 am

Sigma cameras haven’t been known for very good Low Light performance. However they recently released some software that allows their photographers a better chance to get the shot.

This miniature rose was taken in a low light situation. It would have been impossible to get decent results just a week ago, with my SD14.

So Thank You Sigma, I’m one happy artist.
