I had a little fun with the camera the other day and couldn’t resist photographing this BIG PIGI’ve been working BIG hours and haven’t had much time with the camera, however I am working on a new project at the moment.

I had to move to Alberta for work. This is a sunset from my new yard.

I’ve kept my house in Kelowna for the time being. However I don’t know how long I’ll keep it. It’s very frustrating living in an area where the government makes life tough on the poor, and the few rich people are too cheep to open their wallets for anything.

Playing with White Balance

A camera, as well as our eyes has to determine what type of light your in before it captures the image, to hopefully make the photograph look as natural as possible.

However, I don’t always want my artwork to look natural. Today was one of those days. So I had the camera thinking that yellow was white, altering the look of my images.

In my opinion, the results were rather interesting…. and I like them.

I also wanted 2 photos to look natural, so I shot with a standard White Balance setting.

I tried making this Ugly Snail look beautiful.

All in all, I’m happy with todays results.
